Our Testimony series continues with episode 5, in which church member Elliot interviews Ted, who tells an origin story that sounds like the plot of a hit movie and describes the time he spent living like a king in New York City. But something greater was going to happen. God never gave up on him and neither did his wife.
In episode 4, Elliot talks with Sermyer, who was attending AME services in South Carolina before he met his future wife in New York. She invited him to the church of Christ, where he heard a powerful message and soon knew he wanted to be baptized.
Elliot talks with Peter in episode 3. At 19, Peter started studying the Bible and realized that some religious practices didn’t follow God’s word. He decided to find a church where Jesus is the cornerstone.
In our second episode, Elliot talks with Andre, who was baptized at 17 but realized he was being a “part-time Christian” at age 26. Listen to how God changed his life.

HOW TO BE SAVED
Hear the Good News: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
Believe it: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
Have a change of mind: “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3, 5
Proclaim Jesus: “And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” Acts 8:37
Be baptized: “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38
Live a faithful life: “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” Revelation 2:10
